Feeling far more refreshed after a nights sleep we were ready to explore Miami beach. The hotel breakfast was down the street at a restaurant but was a 'grab & go' affair with disposable plates/bowls/cups etc. The selection wasn't too bad with cereal, bagels, juice, coffee, yogurt & fruit. After a bit of a disturbed sleep having been woken at 2am, then about 6 by my room mate I awoke enough to climb down from my lofty bed & get organised to explore Willemstad a little more. I left my bag at the hostel & firstly had breakfast at the same place as last night, yogurt & muesli with coffee went down well. There were 2 cruise ships in town so it was soon rather crowded in town and besides shopping for daggy souvenirs there wasn't a lot to see...

Off to tick off the next country we had breakfast then waited for the taxi to arrive, we decided they might as well drop of mum & the German couple (Ramona & Flo) at the hotel they were picking the car up from as it was sort of on the way. Then I was off to the airport hoping that mum would be waiting at lax airport in a few weeks without much incident travelling by herself. Our first job today was to organise our transport out of Havana & it managed to be done before breakfast! Maria called & booked a taxi for me to the airport and mum organised with the other people staying at our casa for a lift to Varadero as they were picking up a hire car and going there anyway.
