Today we definitely started the journey home. After a semi leisurely morning & breakfast we took our 11am train to Charles De Gaulle airport about 4 hours away. It was pretty much the start of the homeward stretch from today as we took the Euskotren to Hendaye to get our TGV to Bordeaux. We woke up in our own time without the attendant banging on the door as we were arriving late morning, or so we thought. Our train ended up being delayed by 2.5 hrs so when we eventually got off the train in Hendaye to reserve our TGV trains we were very much over it. Today after checking out about 1pm we took the metro into town to get the tram to Belem, although they were new style trams on this flat route.
