We arrived at Lake Argyle after doing over 600kms with a car that was Only running on a few cylinders. We booked in for 2 days and the next morning went back to Kunanurra to find a mechanic who could look at the car an hopefully fix it.
After going to three mechanics,the first one who didn't have a clue what he was talking about,we finally found someone who was on the right track and left the car with him for a while so he could test it. The upshot was that he found that one of the coils was b*****ed so he had to get one air freighted from Perth which would take about 4 days.
So it was back to lake Argyle to cool our heel till the coil arrived,hopefully on Monday. We towed the van back to Kunanurra on Monday preparing to waith the week out there but the part arrived on Monday and he had it fixed by early Tuesday morning,so we at now back on the road again and the car is running beautifully again.
I forgot to mention that Brett Aliesha and the kids left Lake Argyle for Katherine on Monday and we will catch up with them in Darwin.
