Day 12 Today we decided to go for an early walk to a place called Yaki Point before leaving the Grand Canyon for Lake Powell. Early morning temperatures here have been really high so we have been drinking lots and lots of water to help avoid dehydrating. Day 11 After a good night’s sleep we all woke up feeling much better and decided to get on a shuttle bus to the El Tovar Lodge where we had breakfast as it’s important to eat well before a hard day’s hiking around the Grand Canyon. Day 10 Today we headed to the Grand Canyon via the Hoover Dam. We managed to drive straight past it the first time as there is a newly constructed bridge so we had to turn around and drive back again. We stopped for a little while and took some photos of the Dam which is massive, we couldn’t stay long because we had to do a massive drive to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon so that we could go on the Skywalk.
