Given the freedom to choose their own bed times Boo proved that adage about girls maturing faster, taking herself to bed by 10. Fid however proved the testosterone is building in the newly minted 12 year old (yesterday) by, in his words, "Dominating" the stamina of the rest of the family, staying up to 3am!
The highlight of the morning (for Fid) was me getting pulled into the full scan, once again the testosterone fuelled him to boast at "dominating" me by avoiding the body scan that held me up for full 1.5 minutes. Just wait until this energy starts to battle me for his Mum's affection. My highlight of the morning was forgetting I'd booked row 48, check the leg room!
Not long after we boarded, all of that hormone load mixed with no sleep, came back to say hello in a Fiddy cocktail. It's a decade since he last threw up hours into a holiday, at least this time we had bags in every seat back.
Not long after the nasty was gone and he settled in for a rest. As if to prove just how much of a man he is, he crashed out with hand in pants per Al Bundy.
It just kept hitting poor Fid all flight long, if he wasn't asleep he was moaning or yocking :( We've made it to Changi now and have found a surgery. He's been laid out on the examination table asleep for the past half hour or so waiting for the Dr. He's starting to feel a lot better, but perhaps not ready for PappaMia just yet.
Boo on the other hand couldn't be impressed with the butterflies, look at this chocolate shop - it comes with an Oreo man.
