So we arrived in Hanoi and what an experience it was! Bedlam is the only way to describe it and that doesn't really come close. Traffic everywhere and we mean everywhere, we wanted to buy some flip flops but instead were offered half a pig. There was a non stop honking of horns and mass of humanity. Nothing prepared us for it and to be honest I think we are still in shock. An experience but one that we didn't want to prolong, a real eye opener. We had a good few 'bia hoi's' and then got the hell out of dodge on a 5am coach to Cat ba Island.
