Paris is certainly a beautiful city. Clean, tidy and plenty of open space. We have walked miles to see the sights and to just get lost in the suburbs. We are staying in a private apartment in the Latin Quarter just near a subway station. The Notre Dame Cathedral is a 5 minute walk. The Eiffel tower was impressive to see at night time. We left Geneva on a beautiful sunny day. Our route was via Chamonix Mount Blanc and Martigny. What a drive! The scenery is stunning. The roads were icy and covered in snow as we climbed higher. Travelling without chains, we drove at a slow pace. Which was great as it gave us time to absorb to fantastic views. The tempurature dropped down to minus 7C.

Enjoyed the lay back pace of Pisa. Now we are on the move again. Next stop is Monaco. Monaco is a beautiful town. Everything is immaculate. We spent the day walking the city, visiting the casino and the palace. A very nice place to visit. Our stay at the Novotel was great.
