Today we headed for Koh Tao for our diving course. Checked in at Crystal dive resort. Started our PADI diving course that afternoon. Watched some videos on diving. Sat on the beach for the rest of the afternoon soaking up the sun. Went out in the evening, but it was a little dead so we headed back to the hotel, up early for the diving tomorrow.

Slept most of today, after a heavy one last night at the half moon party. Tried to upload some pictures but the internet was crap! Went for a swim in the sea (in the picture) then just chilled out for the rest of the day.

Today we sat and read for a bit on the beach both writing our journals in the nice sunshine! We found a bar down the road which was showing the rugby. All of a sudden there was shouting a screaming in the kitchen and a man and a women threw each other to the ground! We were the only other people in there. Today was our first day on Koh Phangan! The sun came out and we spent the day fishing out at sea!! Managed to catch some little beauts for the barby in the evening!! - not a bad taste either!! Spent the rest of the afternoon reading in a hammock in the sun by the sea. Went out to a bar in the evening for a few games of pool.

Today the weather is still bad and we can't get off the island as all the ferries are cancelled!! We had to change our hotel as they are now fully booked but we moved into Chaweng - a bit busier than Lamai. Spent some of the day shopping and updating the site. Went out on the town and met some people from Bristol and had a good laugh, up early tomorrow to attempt to get off this island!
