Woke up relatively early for us today for a little bit of shopping at MBK! Managed to get a good couple of hours in before our flight to Sydney at 17.35.

Today we took the same tuk tuk (now our friend!!) to the Grand Palace. An impressive palace with a lot of decorative wats/buildings including the emerald buddah! a tiny buddah housed in a massive hall built solely for the buddah - I think he is only around 35 cm tall! Afterwards we took a walk around the Bangkok park before heading to the local department stores to get our hands on a few designer labels!!!! all genuine of course!

Today we took a trip around the whole of Bangkok on a Tuk Tuk for 40baht!!! thats around 70p!!! He took us around the sites and temples for around 6hours!! We went to the marble temple and the lucky buddah 42 metres high! We also saw the sleeping buddah and arranged our trip down to the south of Thailand. We didn't get a chance to go to the Grand Palace today so we will do that tomorrow! In the evening we went to Loy Kratong - A festival in Thailand to celebr...

We checked into our lovelt posh hotel today, nice food, nice pool etc... Spent most of the day lazing around the pool trying to stay cool!!! In the evening we took a trip to see Muay Thai Boxing ringside at Lumpinee stadium. It was an excellent night and we even managed to have a photo taken with the champ, you can guess which one it is from the pic!!
