We've had our first day in Bangkok after a long overnighter on our Finn Air flight via Helsinki.
Whilst in Helsinki airport, we discovered that the Finns can't get enough of blueberries - in sauces, in juices and even in their coffee....who would have known!
Our hotel in Bangkok had water problems and so we were transferred to their sister hotel. Who knows if that was genuine - however, since they offered us a complimentary lunch, we weren't complaining!
Although extremely jet lagged, we managed to go out in the evening and enjoyed some lovely Thai food - a place that it turns out that the king of Sweden once visited. Whilst not quite up there with ABBA eating there, we enjoyed a banquet fit for a King! Looking forward to a good night's sleep now and visiting the palaces and temples tomorrow!
