Monday morning and we were up and ready in time for the bus at 8am. Number 3 was our driver an amazingly and much appreciated, he let us stop at the bakery before we left Rainbow Beach so that we could get so breakfast and munchies for the journey.....well it was a stop in return for a cheese and bacon roll for him!
Luckily it was only a short journey of about an hour and a half to get to Noosa......as Kaite, myself and Lynn were all feeling a little delicate after drinks and lack of sleep the night before. When driving through Noosa to get to the transit centre we were pleasantly suprised by how gorgeous it was. The transit centre ended up being a little but very short reunion for us. Lynn was to stay on the bus and go on to Brisbane whilst Katie and i got off the bus for one nights stay in Noosa Backpackers Resort. All 5 of the Irish were waiting at the transit centre to get on the bus with Lynn to Brisbane, as were Kyle and Liam. Lucky for Kyle, despite not booking himself on the bus properly, there was still room so he also could get on.
A short shuttle bus journey and we were at our hostel where we checked ourselves into Gillians room without telling her and went and chilled out in the room for a while. When Gillian came back, we caught up with her and then wandered to the supermarket for some lunch and provisions. By the time we got back and sorted our stuff, the Greyhound had arrived which meant that so had Alan and Mike, they were again staying at the same hostel as us. Once we all met up again, (also with the Canadian guy from Fraser Island trip, Jonah) we all went for a walk along the river stopping for a milkshake at an outside cafe. It was a really relaxed and lovely way to spend the afternoon actually, except for the part where we bumped into a man taking his pet snake for a walk on beach by the river!
That night all 6 of us had homemade pizzas from the hostel bar and sat outside drinking and playing games until the bar shut at the ridiculously late time of 10pm!lol! After that we all moved up to our balcony along with Ben and Aled, two guys from Alan and Mike's dorm room, and put some music on and played games and chatted until stupid o'clock.
