It was set to be a long afternoon on the bus with Wellington being a 5 hour drive. Aftering leaving River Valley at 1.30pm we drove for a couple of hours to a little town called Bulls, where everything has a name ending in Bulls, like the police station is called Consta-a-bull! Really quite funny when driving through looking at all the signs, Information Centre = Inform-a-bull, Flower Shop = Bloom-a-bull!lol! Anyway, after a giggle and a quick food stop here we p...

Ok, so up next morning and we left for Taupo, we left earier than scheduled in the hope that there would be good weather that afternoon for us to skydive. On arrival in Taupo, first stop was the Huka Falls.....awesome is the only possible way to describe this waterfall. Despite being a very short waterfall, the sheer mass of water going through is what is so amazing about it. 200,000 litres of water pass through the waterfall every second..............yes ever...

Next stop on our route was to be Rotorua, the place of the natural hot springs. The journey there was horrible as was lots of twists and turns on the bus, not good for travel sickness! We stopped at a bush walk, only a short 30minute round trip up to an old tramway built into the mountain, going through tunnels etc, was quite cool to see and walk through actually.When we arrived in Rotorua we had a quick tour on the bus and then went to the hostel to check in. ...

Saturday morning and we got picked up from Auckland at 8.15am by our bus driver Lauren, who was going to be our driver right down to Queenstown. After a few other pickups we went to the Auckland lookout and took some pictures of the view and the volcano crater.
