'scotland on steriods'

Arrived in new zealand- in christchurch on the southern island. the city is pretty nice, but new zealand is more about the country rather than its cities, so we're only here for a day. it's really quite cold, so initial ideas of having a camper van have been scrapped- and we're scooting around in a car instead.
