'wide open spaces' Finish our outback tour in alice springs- the biggest town in central australia. the place has a mythical sound to it- alice springs is somewhere you have always heard about but never imagined you would ever get there. on our way we visit king's canyon- yet another spectacular natural site in this amazing part of australia and the world. the red rocks and sheer cliffs are quite mindblowing.

'red rocks' We travel to uluru (ayers rock) to camp near by for a couple of days. here we do a number of walks around the base of it, and through the famous 'olgas' mountains. we also watch the unbelievable and very spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the rocks- which are amazing and unique sights. the whole atmosphere and feel of the area is something that is completely unique to the area and is one of the highlights of my trip so far.
