After a few days of doing nothing we headed to Ko Phangnan for the Full Moon Party which is apparently the biggest outdoor rave party in the world and attracts upto 10,000 people on big nights. As you can imagine a giant rave party is not exactly my cup of tea and is a bit like me going to a moshing party! As I minced around in a poloshirt and shorts, everyone else had glow paint on with glow sticks which again I thought strange, but I guess when its so close you might as well go and see what all the fuss was about. Needless to say I dont think Ill be going to any rave parties again on the basis that I think that they are for a want of a better word...........crap! Although it was definetley an experience!! On the upside we stayed in a hut in the trees which was a bit like Swiss Family Robinson but was pretty cool!!
