So Ill begin by apologising for the lack of updates with the blogs and photos etc which has mainly been down to poor internet connections and my lack of computer skillls. After staying a few days in Patong I decided enough was enough and decided to move further down the coast to the smaller and less seedy villages of Kata and Karon (which had less ladyboys and strip clubs!!). It was a move pretty much brought on by the need for a quieter life and also by the approach of 6ft lady boy who tried to hold my hand and who had a voice deeper than Darth Vader!! The villages in themselves were beautiful little places that just had long stretches of beach at which everyone sat down to watch the sunsets which were in themselves pretty spectacular. After a  few days of moving down the coast though it was time to cross over to the other side of the country to see some of the Islands.
