Guess I'm falling down on the job! We used our last day in Bellagio to wander around, do laundry, & visit the Melzi gardens. It was also a national holiday - Festa da Republica - so every place was crowded. But the weather was warm & sunny for our last day. Lake Como is magical & now we know why the area is so special.

Breezy on the Menaggio side of the lake. Rick Steve describes it as more "urban." That means there's a main road going thru it. A nice lakefront area & then lots of private villas. Had great pizza for lunch on old town.

Must be a classic car event in town today as a whole line just went by our balcony. Off on another ferry ride across to Menaggio in a few minutes.

Another pretty day at the lake. We're going to try some ferry trips across the lake, but decided to pass on the Lugano adventure at least for today. Great food, as usual, in Italia!

A bit drippy at the moment, but we're finally here at Hotel Florence in Bellagio, Italy. It was a longggg travel day & it will be an early night! Exploring will have to wait until tomorrow.
