Clearly Franchoek is a winner.....it's quaint, it's delightful, and it's safe...so nice to feel safe!......we stayed in Le Ballon Rouge....a cosy guest house decorated to ooze charm...four poster bed and antique furniture....
Sadly the weather was chilly and drizzly, but we ate out in the evening...chose the restaurant because they served Greek food.....oh how we've fancied Greek food over the years but never found a Greek restaurant in Bedford or France........so two eager bogans sat down and we both chose Kleftico....with memories of kleftico s we had long ago.........ha ha Kleftico arrived, huge lamb shank and mash with a gravy......but not a hint of Greek.....it was lamb, mash and gravy....all the same it was very nice....guess we will have to go to Greece !!

Bernie Looks lovely. Shame about the weather.
Helen and Michael We are in Kalkan now and they serve lamb shank with mash, gravy and a bay leaf, call it Kleftico too. Can't complain though as a lot of the food is authentically Turkish. Hope the weather picks up for you.
