Hi Louise, So nice to hear from you. We are so glad to be out of Bali! Although it was a fantastic place the authorities were a little strange. Will take your advice about wrapping our bags and will look up the train you mentioned. We have hired a camper van for 5 days and so off exploring tomorrow. One of my friends from the UK is coming out on Friday so we will come back to Cairns for a few days to see her and then we plan to head south. Looking forward to meeting you. oh my god im sooooo glad your out of bali, just scared what might happen over there with aussies with poor schappelle corby a national vote in aus says that 95% think she was set up by our baggage handlers, WHILE TRAVERLING IN AUS USE THE GLAD WRAP(PLASTIC ) MACHINES IN THE AIRPORTS TO PROTECT YOUR LUGGAGE PLEASE peple have been saked for cocaine and other stuff being put inluggage from one airport to another. back to bali there is talk that there will be more reprisals like the bali bombing.

Hi Mum and Dad, Yes there was a good reason for leaving Bali earlier than expected. The Indonesian Immigration authorities would not extend our visa and so we had to leave the country. We could have stayed but if we did we would have had to pay $20 each per day in fines or the minute possibility we could ahve been sent to a detention centre!!! free accommodation!!! But don't worry. All is fine. I don't know if you've heard about the Aussie girl who had drugs planted on her. She is in prison there and all the aussie's are going crazy. So us foreigners are not viewed very highlt in Indonesia at the moment. I think its a blessing we left early. Cairns is fantastic and I wish you could come out and see us. Watched some Aussie Rugby League last night in a bar. We drank VB!!! (Victoria Bitter) Its my drink!! I think they should give it to me for free! Also tried some Bundaberg and coke (rum and coke). Had a little headache this morning but it was worth it. We thought Nan and granps had made their way to Oz. Last night at the bar there was a band called "Crazy Maisey". I couldn't believe my ears! Just looking in to hiring a camper van for a few days. ZANA - if you are reading this any advice on buses. We have looked at Grey Hound, is that who you travelled with? well, I must go. G'day, Well you surprised us a little with your sudden hop to Oz. We weren't expecting that til' the 10th but there must have been good reason for the change of plan? Mum's borrowed one of your many handbags for the occassion...hope you don't mind but it's just the right colour. Katie called about an hour ago. Poor line but we managed to grasp the fact the apartment is great & it's not been too hot on the first full day. She's going to try to get to an internet cafe but she's not sure how many & where they are. She sends her love anyway. Mum went to see nan & gramps before they go down to K & G's on Sunday. They're looking forward to that so me & mum will be home alone. Rhino's at home to Hull tonight. 1/2 time & it's a bit of a struggle again. 12-12. They're missing you Sig. City have signed a former Celtic player Mo Mo Sylla. Don't know what he's like but what a great name. Hi Nan and Granps!! Wow! sounds like you had a busy Sunday. Pork chops and Mashed potatoes!!! you are killing us!!!! I could eat that now!!! we have had some very interesting food, some of it I don;t even know what it was. We had something that looked like a hamster but was called chicken??? still not sure on that one. As for singing... we would have joined in and Sig could help you with your make up!!! We are in Bali now. We have only been here for 1 night as we have to leave for Australia. It has been lovely though and I would come back here. There's lots of surfers!! Nan, you could come here and check out the surfer dudes!!! and granps could try surfing and be a surfer dude. There's a surf school that gurantee's you will stand up on the board and catch a wave in a day!! Shall I put your name down?? Looking forward to Australia. Yes we made it to Bali (just) and are now waiting to get the next plain to AUZ - a little earlier than expected. Just to let you know we've had to leave Indonesia as the authorites wont extend our Visa's. It's a shame as Bali is fantastic but that said we're really looking forward to Australia!! It's been an interesting last week (putting it mildly) but we're having an amazing time and have smiles from ear to ear! Hi Guys, hope you got to Bali ok and they have let u out of the airport!!!! Fingers crossed that you don't get charged too much leaving Bali. I hope u didn't waste any money on the 'beautiful goat testicle earings', don't think they r really my thing!! Went 4 tea at Mum & Dads yesterday so filled them in on your mishap!! I felt really special for a minute!! with u ringin me and I think Mum was a bit upset about not bein the 1 sortin it out 4 u. But once I told her about the present so was thankful that she didn't!!
Mum and Dad have finally buried Bimbo, he even has a plack with his name on, its rather sweet!!
I spent the whole of Bank Holiday weekend gettin drunk again!! Just startin to recover!!
