Hi all, I'd just like to say that the methane gasses were due to a very hot chili which Sig cooked for me on the camp fire. And he produced as much gas as me!!! if not more. I am a lady afterall! Thanks Louise for all the advice. As Si said, we didn't encounter any croc's but we did see some fantastic turtles. They were wild in a creek at one of the campsites. We even fed them. Sig and I also decided to do our own night nature walk. It started off great. We made our way to one of the boardwalks in the rainforest. It was about 5 minutes into the walk when we encountered a gigantic spider and decided to turn back. A great adventure all the same. We are now back in Cairns and have met up with my friend Susan (from Page & Moy). We took her out on the town last night but jet lag caught up with her so it was only a short evening. I think tonight will be a little different. We have booked to go out to the reef tomorrow!!! I am so excited. Susan's coming too so it should be a laugh. The weathers supposed to be good, so we can get some sunbathing in too! Good to hear you all had fun at the wedding. Really wished we could have been there. If possible can someone send me a photo of the happy couple. Take care and love to all. Victoria xxxxx

Wowweeee!! i dont know where to start! thanks for all the messages! Well our driving adventure is over for now. Drove "our 1st home" and probably our last after the methane gasses Miss Hall let off, all the way upto Cape Trib! It was Fantastic - spent a few days in the Rainforst - Amazing (thanks Louise for the Warnings) and although no Croc's - we saw plenty of Spiders, Toads, eels and BEST of all Turtles! - Its Great to hear everyone is well and So Glad the wedding was a success. Where back in Cairns now and staying at the Asylum (again we took no warnings from the name) Will be back on soon to update! Thanks everyone xxx

Hi Bro and Vic
How is the ozzy sunshine?? Have you been to the toad racin yet?
Got my carpet fitted in hall on Wed, the carpet fitter was very impressed with your carpet fittin in my bedroom as he had never seen underlay laid UPSIDE DOWN before!!! Well u can't be perfect. Thought I would do a bit of abstract art for my hallway, lets just say that I needed u to rescue my poor attempts of art work, but hopefully I can resurrect them! Hope u 2 r still enjoyin each other company (well that's more for Vic as I feel sorry 4 her!!)
Be careful of the crocs, stingray, sharks, spiders and any other dangerous bein in Oz!! Speak soon, Lucy
Louise
hi, i forgot to tell you simon that if that surfer dude inside you is still trying to get out then make sure you learn to surf in queensland, as the water temp will be better, you will not probably be able to do it up cairns way because of the stingers (jellyfish) if not you should be able to do it around surfers. Im not sure when stinger season is but if it is now only swim inside the stinger nets, if you get bitten(stung) then there are normaly life guards and also emergency stands on the beach that have vinegar in them , thats what you pour on the wound then get help, up north becareful of where you swim as lots of crocs, i keep remembering all these things to tell you as for us we just know. up north dont camp on river beds one the crocs and two rivers can rise meters in 5 minutes, stay at alocated areas but still be careful, thats all i can think of for now, hope i haven't scared you too much or your parents.

Hi guys
Hope you are still enjoying your stay in Cairns or thereabout. It was lovely to hear from you. I rang Ellen
yesterday and let them know you had landed! Richard says he will never speak to you again if you dont go
and stay with them. They have penty of room as only Ricki is at home now. They also said Rebecca was
still in Queensland and were sure she would like to see you. I wasnt sure when you would be getting near,
so suggest you call them when you have a clearer idea. Nice to see Louise is watching over you. Hope its
stopped raining, weve had 23 degrees today, phew! I did try and call Vics mum and Dad last week to let
them know what was happening with the visas, dont know if they got my garbled message or not?
Been at Lucys today whilst she had her hall and stair carpet fitted. Youll be glad to hear that the hall is now
finished. It looks great!
We are having great fun at work. They are trying to change our shift patterns to work 5 days on busy weeks
and 3 days on quieter weeks with , wait for it, a weekend off at least once a month!
It sounds good, but means some weeks we work 45 hours and others 27 hours. Can my body clock cope!
I,m going to see my union rep tomorrow to see if they have agreed the changes.
It appears out of both superflexi teams I am the only one in the union! Typical!
P.S.
Whats this I hear about you and surfing Simon, its news to me! I think it must be the diving that made you
light headed!
Take care as always.

Thanks Louise, Yes it's Victoria's mum & dad. Give her a big hug from us when you get together. We think you should start a 'G'day cobber' revival movement over there & We'll start a 'Good morning old bean' campaign here.....................maybe not. Lets stick with 'Alright Mate'. Keep in touch on the website. It's great isn't it. Graham & Mandy xx
Louise
this is for vics mum and dad i think, no we realy dont say cobber thats a real old saying, its more mate, its a real blokey thing and instead of using their names alot of men say hi mate and oh yeh gidday mate, alot of our language is not the queens english ( i can say that i was born in england) but very slack in that we shorten a lot os words and dont beat round the bush(thats one for ya) oh another, cobber to most just meand pal, friend, mate.
any other questions happy to help
louise

G'day cobbers, (Do they really say that? & if so, what is a cobber?) Anyway, sounds like you've done it again. Another idylic spot & we're all as jealous as heck. We shouldn't be cos we've had a pretty good few days ourselves. The wedding went very smoothly & Michelle looked beautiful. Andrew scrubbed up quite nicely too & Lee is breathing a big sigh of relief now his serious duties are over. Just the house to 'tend to' before the newlyweds return! The day itself threatened to be a bit dodgy weather wise but it turned out fine with the sun shining at all the right moments. The reception was held at the Hinckley Island Hotel.......Very nice. The tension was rising as the speaches approached but again, no one needed to worry. All speakers performed brilliantly. Lee's words about the absence of you 2 & Katie momentarily brought a tear to the eye. Any sympathy for you lot missing out soon evaporated though when he mentioned you were overlooking the Great Barrier Reef & Katie was paddling in the azure seas around the Greek Islands!!!!!!!! Every one was asking about you & we're sure yo'll get afew more messages posted as they all recover...It may take aunty Di until next weekend though.....She was having trouble moving yesterday. Dodgy prawn. We'll try to get photo's & more news to you soon. Keep sending the updates. Can't wait to see some more photo's. Take care out there & look after each other. Love to you both. Mum & Dad xxxx
