So long time no blog! :-). Have covered a few ks since Sydney and are now on the Mornington peninsula just south of Melbourne. Took until 2pm to sort out stinky bus windscreen so we loitered around the shopping centre and play park!! Believe me three hours is a long time to waste in Wollongong!! So Sydney. Fab place!! We headed into city on train on Friday. Campsite 700m from station and 30 mins into town. Went over harbour bridge on train for our first glimpse of opera house!! Eventually found our way To circular quay via some amazing little food markets in The Rocks where you could buy any cuisine we settled for Japanese pancakes! Finally arrived in the suburbs of Sydney. We are camping in lane cove river national park so a really nice location and we have at least three nights here so really nice to chill out for a bit. Plan is to catch train into city for a couple of days. Wanted to go out to blue mountains but not sure if we will manage that. OMG!!!! Awesome day!!!!!!! Early start 710am pick up which was bit of shock to system - quick bus ride to Abel point Marina and 8 am we boarded our 37 metre boat for our 3 hr journey to the barrier reef.
