Time finally came for me to leave Mahahual, those that know me best won´t be surprised to hear that there were a few teary goodbyes. Finished off in style by completing my Divemaster certification so new career options abound. beginning of the last week and I´m almost a Dive master - how scary a prospect is that. Just 1 guided dive to take out and that´ll be me. Although here they like to call it the "f***up dive" all the staff come along and make every possible mistake, taking off tanks, throwing away regs, stripping off and pretty much anything else they can dream up at 12m..... wish me luck!!

This last week has been really busy, Beach Olympics, lots of diving and plenty of studying for Dive master. I´ve made it through 4 exams and 2 stamina tests and i´ve got the same again to geth through as well as all the practical work and skills. It really is keeping me out of mischief

Teaching day so i´m back in town and have taken the opportunity to load up lots of photos from the last 5 weeks, have a browse if you get a chance. And before anyobne asks, no we dont spend all out time drinking and partying it´s just that that´s when I get a bit snap happy.

yet more wind so no diving... how unlucky can we get. still it´s giving me plenty of time for the Divemaster studies. I´ve assisted with 3 classes now and am enjoying lots of lovely reading. Studying isn´t so hard when you´re doing it all from a hammock. Teaching in town tonight and tomorrow we´ve got a girly evening planned, off to try to buy the ingredients to make rice crispie cakes!!
