Hi All, Well we have arrived safely on the South Island. We flew to Christchurch today and its bloody cold compared to the North Island and Oz! We are in trousers and jumpers so no sun bathing to be done here. We are picking up a hire car tomorrow and are heading off further south but we are not sure where yet. Hi All, Just a quick update to let you all know that we have arrived safe and sound in New Zealand. The weather here is still good, it was 27 degrees when we arrived today. We are still making plans but we think we will fly to Christchurch on the 3rd and hire a car and drive up the South Island and get the ferry to the North Island and drive back up to Auckland ready to head off to Fiji on the 22nd but we will keep you posted! Ok, update from 2nd Feb follows: Goss from Ju's b'day - Spent the day on Fraser Island, we went to Basin Lake, visited Central station and did the rainforest boardwalk, we went to Wanggoolba Creek, walked through the Pile Valley and then spent the afternoon at Lake McKenzie!
