We biked 24 miles today and are exhausted! We met our group of 8, including us... which means we just have to pull one of them over and we have a majority!!! Waa haa haa... oh dear, we are tired!
We started at a winery - tasted and ate a fabulous lunch and then got a safety lesson about our bikes, which likely should have started with don't do wine tasting before biking... It was beautiful and a little hilly, but some very descent flat portions. The photo is in front of Sleeping Beaty's castle and the bum who photo bombed us is a dentist. If anyone knows photo shop, please report back.
For the most part, the ride was on quiet roads. But some were the width of bike-hike trails...and they had two-way car traffic. The cars are small, but really - it is insane!
We got back for showers, a dip in a freezing pool, a reception and dinner. Did I mention we are exhausted...
