Well it is certainly nice to be sleeping in my own bed again and not having to scout out a place to sleep every night. All in all it was a great trip. There were many obstacles, not the least of which was that at least one of us was sick at any given time. Then of course, the bikes decided to both give us some mechanical troubles. We did manage to get those under control eventually and it seems that Dal learned a lot more than he bargained for about bike mechanic...

Had a decent flight to London. No screaming kids although the smell from the person in front of me was enough to make me want to stay home for the rest of my life. Yikes! Now we are just trying to stay awake to adapt to this time zone. Lots of shuffling from one terminal to the other and back to the hotel. On the bright side we just discovered that we can check our baggage in 24 hours in advance so we are doing it this evening instead of at 5AM tomorrow. Nice. ...

After a few road bumps, trip preparations are almost done. I will be pedalling around Morocco with my longtime, adventurous travel buddy Dal. We were co-workers, roommates and travel buds in Chile many moons ago. He was just crazy enough (in a good way of course) to join the trip on short notice.
