We all woke around the same time and went out for breakfast. The locals made us scrambled eggs - lot of eggs!!! Again I think a lot was wasted! Went down to the bamboo sheltered toilets for one last time, that was an experience!! Once we were already we headed off trekking for the 2nd time. Going over treterous bridges, going through some water, again amazing scenery all round us. The heat was starting to rise the more we got into Chiang Mai.
After the trek we then stopped off for bamboo rafting which was really fun. There were four of us on our raft, it was quite relaxing but at times we had to hold on when the currents got strong!! We stopped off at a really deep part of the river where we jumped off rocks- that was so much fun!!! After rafting we headed to a wee cafe where our photographs were waiting for us, I got one to keep as a souvenir, was really cool and reminds me of what fun I had!!!
So we headed to the hotel we were staying at in Chiang Mai and my word, it was luxury compared to what we had in the jungle. There was a pool for starters, and also free wifi everywhere!!!! I had a lovely warm shower which was well needed after being in the jungle being smelly.
We all went out for dinner and then we went to get some drinks at a bar called Zoe, it was absolutely crazy!!! The music was good, we all had some drinks, danced and then we went back to the hotel.
