Hi everyone!

So we're in Kuta, Bali at the mo. Just come in from a morning's surf on the beach, met some cool Balinese instructors. We were introduced to Eryl, a professional photographer who told us that he'd just come up from Ulu Watu, where 44 of the world's top pro surfers are currently in a Ripcurl comp! So guess where we're off tommorw? Will update you on who we saw!

It's been really sunny every day so far, and we've spent a couple of hangover days by the pool at our hostel. We checked out Poppies Gang which is pretty much the main street for bars+clubs, definitely beats UK drink prices!

Oh yeah there was a rat in our bed last night. It was so noisy it woke us up! Gross. But the room does only cost three pounds a night, so sing ken-ken! ('no worries' in Balinese).

We have planned lots of cultural stuff to do in Ubud which is more inland. We're looking forward to a volcano trek and a visit to the monkey jungle. So don't worry it's not all drinking and partying!
