Hey, just gi\ot back from climbing Lion's Head, which the guide book describes as an easy 45 minute hike. They must be laughing right now! it took me an hour just to get down, and then had no phone so had to walk back to the hostel, another 2 miles! forgot to take a drink aswell big mistake, but the views are amazing and i really felt like i had achieved something when i got to the top! Went out last night with Jon and Jen who i met on my second day and had a great night. discovered the best of south african beer and cider and just what fits in someones ear! you will have to wait for the photos for that one! staying in a room with a canadian and two danish guys who are all lovely but quite content to sit and relax all day! went to the waterfront yesterday and had a good browse. listened to a man singing abba at the ampitheatre in an opera style! Also went on a boat round Robben Island, and even saw the penguins. Had dolphins swimming and playing around the boat and lots of seals, and got to lie on the front of the boat! Booked my bus ticket up to joburg today which is sad because i dont really want to leave cape town! missing home lots, and the snow looks amazing! found out that HSM is just as important here as in England. Nobody can escape! x
