Arrived in Cape Town this morning after a long and sleepless flight, but its so laid back here I am coping without a nap! Been exploring, found company,s Garden's, and I could have spent all day in there, the park is so well looked after. The coldest day they have had in ages here, only 20 degrees so hoping for some more sun tomorrow. I think I am being broken in gently! I found a scottish guy who started backpacking and now lives here who has offered to show me around a bit. The hostel seems nice, i got first pick of the bads, and there is a nice hot shower. Looking forward to going up table mountain as wherever you are in Cape Town its right infront of you! Will update when i have been here a bit longer than 5 hours! x

Seen a bit more of the place today. My second cousin Linda has driven me all round seeing the sights and the beautiful beaches. Had a lovely lunch at the rhodes memorial, and met Doreen, my mum's cousin. Much hotter today, about 28 degrees but an air conditioned car. Met some french guys and some Irish girls at the hostel last night for some drinking, and have some mobile numbers if i want to meet up with them again. going out tonight with Linda's nephew and his friends in town, and have plans to go to the Met, the south african version of royal ascot at theweekend with Daniella, her daughter! everyone is so laid back here, even if you slow down in a carand pull out in front of someone nobody even honks! so many beautiful views on my camera now, might try uploading them soon! x
