Have had a week of islands, a couple of days on Koh Tao and now a few days on Koh Samui. Koh Tao is quiet, with a lot of scuba diving but it was cold and wet when i was there, Koh Samui has not had the best weather either, but it is back in the 30s, and as a massive tourist destination there is a lot to do. Yesterday we rented a truck and went to a monkey, elephant and crocodile show where you could play football with the elephants, and watch a strange thai man...

Spent yesterday on the motorbike as well, scooted back to haadrin but it was so hot i had to lie in the sea to keep cool enough! Last night was the famous full moon party and it was mental! The beach is about a mile long, and it was decked out with 18 massive stereo systems, a lot of bright lights and a lot of buckets of drink. There was burning rope for skipping, fireworks, flaming signs, dance stages and around 30,000 people! Went down for dinner there firs...

Turns out flying was worth it, after all the bus journeys! The journey was meant to be 70 minutes, but only took 45 and i was back in Thailand! Got a taxi to Kho San road and went straight to a travel agents to book a bus to Kho Phagnan and ten minutes later i was on it, in the last seat avialble, middle of the back row between two couples! fun! Last night in Siem Reap we went our to celebrate at Ankhor What? bar. Had a great night and bumped into lots of people from Vietnam! Up early the next morning for the bus to Sihanoukville which took 10 hours, and luckily i got a double seat again! Had dinner and an early night watching CSI when we arrived. Looks like i havent written in a while! Well Phnom Penh was good, i saw s-21, the notorious prison of the Khmer Rouge which now holds the genocide museum and the killing fields both of which were moving and horrendous. I walked around the city, to Wat Phnom, the temple the vcity is named after and the independence monument and all along the riverside.
