Hey guys!! So had a quiet few days here! Friday, Saturday and Sunday were spent chilling out by the lagoon and wandering around Cairns working off a couple of hangovers!! Moved to a different hostel for a couple of extra nights, which was really nice! Nice and clean although pretty basic, had a rooftop pool though and had cheap meals at a nearby restaurant!! Hey! Wow, another amazing day!! Today (well yday now!!) I went white water rafting!!! Wwe went on the Tully River which is a grade 4 river (graded up to 6 with 6 being death lol)! Had a nice early start of 6.40am pick up!! Headed to Tully which is about 2 hours away! On the way we went through Innisfail and Tully which had been severly hit by Cyclone Yasi. Oh. My. God! Had THE best day today! So, an early start and I was down at the marina for 7.30am!! Check in (they have a boat terminal that is just like the airport check in desks!!) and boarded the boat! It was quite big with a lower deck, upper and then a little rooftop!
