Hello from Asia for the last time!!

Well, had a few relaxing days recently and haven't done too much hence the limited blog entries.

So, on Thursday I headed to the lakes and gardens which are on the outskirts on KL. They are a bit like Stourhead but has a deer park, bird park and some other attractions as well!! Had about an hour walk to get there and it was crazy hot so hoped it was gonna be worth it! And it definitely was, the gardens and lake were absolutely lovely and so peaceful! Sat by the lake for a few hours and just chilled, had a little chat with one of the workers there as well! The walk home wasn't too bad as I knew my way back exactly!!

On Friday, I got up about 7.30am to get tickets for the twin towers (which are in the picture above!!). Unfortunately, I was too late as they only have a limited amount each day and its first come first served! So instead went and visited KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre) which is another park! Equally as peaceful as the other one even though it is only about 500m from the main roads! It has a main route around the park which also has a running track surface for those keenos!! (Not me!!) Posted some postcards to home and Tesco ;)

Today, I got up at 6.30am and managed to get twin tower tickets!! It didn't actually take too long which was good :) Booked to go up at 4.40pm so had the day to chill out, repack my bags and do some washing!! Oh the joys of travelling!! Had a little shop to buy a new day bag, unfortunately the lovely Gucci and Chanel ones were slightly over my budget :( The actually trip to the twin towers was a bit of a disppointment! Unfortunately it hasn't been good weather today so it was pretty cloudy which made the views a bit rubbish!! However we did get thunder an lightning while we were on the bridge!! Didn't get long up there but then again, there wasn't oo much to see!! Definitely doesn't compare to the skyline of Singapore!! Got caught in the rain walking home but after living in England for 21 years it wasn't a big deal!! Put more pictures up on facebook but still can't get them on here without it taking forever!!

Getting the bus back to Singapore tomorrow morning and then my flight is at 9pm so should land in Oz about midday on Monday (as I also have an internal flight to get up to Cairns)! Time difference will then be 10 hours!!

Anyways best go and get some food!
