Well, I'm still in the hostel in KL, and spent yesterday touring round KL, including a tour of the orchid park and hibiscus garden which was stunning, until it decided to absolutely chuck it down and we were trapped there for an hour until we decided to make a run for it across town and nearly drowned in the process!! (we, by the way is me and Nadine, a German girl who was in my dorm the first night) Went up the KL Tower in the evening, timed perfectly for sunset, tho unfortunately, the rain had washed away any sun that there might have been, so we just got a kinda dusk! After that we had a wander round some of the night markets then wandered through china town and had a meat fondue thing, where there's a bucket of boiling water in the middle of your table and you go and pick your meat/fish/veg and then cook it yourself and then have a loada satay sauces and stuff too - was really good. Also tried a selection of mini malaysian pastries too, not that we had a clue what any of them were when we bought them, but (most of them) were nice!

Am off to the cameron highlands this morning to get out of this heat - its sooo hot and muggy! will write again when I get there!! .....
