Well, I'm still in the hostel in KL, and spent yesterday touring round KL, including a tour of the orchid park and hibiscus garden which was stunning, until it decided to absolutely chuck it down and we were trapped there for an hour until we decided to make a run for it across town and nearly drowned in the process!! (we, by the way is me and Nadine, a German girl who was in my dorm the first night) Went up the KL Tower in the evening, timed perfectly for sunset...

Hey all, Just a quickie - not much to report yet, but made it to my hostel in KL pretty uneventfully. It's soooo hot and muggy here, but I plan to spend a day or so exploring the city and then head up to the tea plantations in the Cameron Highlands either tomorrow or the next day, and its much cooler up there. Gonna sign off, as havent slept for about 48 hours - at least I won't get jet lagged!xxxxx
