Today, we woke up at 06:00. We ate breakfast at 07:00. We loaded up our bags and were on the bus by 08:00. We drove approximately four hours to get to New York City. When we got to New York City, we went to Central Park. We saw a statue of a Polish King. We also got to take pictures with the Hans Christian Anderson statue. We also watched many different performers. After Central Park, we went to the Met. We went to the Egyptian exhibit first. Then, we went to China Through the Looking Glass. Next was my favorite, the Medieval Weaponry exhibit. I loved the weapons, especially the guns. My favorite thing in the entire museum was seeing a Colt Model 3 Special. We also went to the Medieval Bedroom and Post-Modern Impressionism exhibits. After the Met, we met with our tour guide Mike. We did a bus tour of part of the city as Mike told us about it. Then, we went to Grand Central Terminal. The architecture was breathtaking. After Grand Central, we walked through Midtown. We went to the Rockefeller Center. We saw where they put the Christmas tree and the ice rink. Then, we went to another building. We learned about the mural and it's strange history. We walked past the Today Show on the way to the NBC building. Mike told us about the different shows being taped in there and the history of NBC. Then, we went down to Times Square. For dinner, we had Street Meat from the vendors. We then went to the Toys R Us store and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. After Times Square, we went to Broadway to see Matilda. It was really unique and fun to watch. It was little all over the place, but overall I thought it was well done. We got back on the bus and drive to our hotel.
