Today, we woke up at 06:00. We went to breakfast around 07:00 and were on the bus by 08:00. We drove to the Boston Harbor Wharf to pick up out your guide. We drove to Little Italy where we learned about tenement houses. Next, we walked to Paul Revere's house. It amazes me that he raised so many kids in such a small house. Next, we went to the Old North Church. We learned about the history of the church and what role it played in the Revolution. Next, we went to Granary Burial Ground. We saw the graves of Paul Revere, Sam Adams, John Hancock, and members of the Franklin family. After the burial ground, we went back to Boston Common to learn about the history of the Common and its uses, including as a cow pasture. After the Common, we went to MIT and did a bus tour of the campus. Then, we went to tour Harvard. We saw the statue of John Harvard and learned about the three lies. Then, we toured other parts of the campus including the library. After that, we went to eat lunch at Bartley's Burgers on campus. It was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Next, we went to look at grass in Lexington. Then we went to the Old Manse in Concord. The history of the house is fascinating and the possibility of a haunting is intriguing. Then, we walked around the grounds and visited the North Bridge. We drove back into Boston and had a few minutes of free time in Copley Square. For dinner, we went to Uno Pizza. It was good. After dinner, we went to more sights on the Freedom Trail. We started at the U.S. Constitution. We walked to look at King's Cross Burial Ground. Then, we walked to see a statue of Benjamin Franklin. We ended at the statehouse.
