Well i have to the 7hour journey to Krabi was worth it!! When we arrived we checked into our beach hut and then took a stroll down to the beach and just caught the sunset. Staying in a place called Ao Nang, the weather is hot and the beaches are lovely!! The town has all little shops restaurants and bars and really feel like on holiday now. In the evening we eat at fish restaurant on the seafront. I had Pad Thai the local dish which noodles veg chiken in like a satay sauce. Was lovely and only 1pound!! We then all went to a bar called Chang bar. After a few barcardis people started ordering the thai buckets which contain thai red bull, coke and thai whiskey which actually tastes more like rum! More drinking games and a few games of pool. 5of us who stayed out went over to a really nice club on the beach called Lumar. Was a very good evening and good start to thailand!!
In the morning of the 28th we got up early (no hangover mum) and got a long boat around to Pranang beach which is the one in the picture!! Was really hot and the sea was like a bath. Got a little sunburnt on the missed bits but was a brill day chilling out. Got some lunch off a stationary long boat which had everything fresh and made for you. A storm came about 3pm so we headed back for a little rest before dinner. This place is really lovely and everyting so cheap. Bring on the tan!!
On the 29th, wed we got up early and headed off to go kayaking in the mango groves. Was very pretty place but unfortunately kayaking turned out not be one of mine n brownies better sports!! After about ten minutes we were very far behind everyone else and constantly going in the wrong direction. Therefore the guide had to come and rescue us and hays ended up getting in his boat and i was towed with a bit of rope! We then went through all these big hills where James Bond was filmed and stopped for fruit and to feed the monkeys. We also got out on the shore and it was thick with mud that you sinked in and there was hundreds of little crabs everywhere. On the was back I caught a lift with the other guide!! Was very relaxing!! He said you just sit there like a princess....and i wasn't gonna argue with that! In the afternoon when we got back we sunbathed on our beach in Au Nang. It was roasting hot! In the evening had another big night at the cHANG bar drinking the samsung buckets and playing free pool.
On thurs the 30th we did a speed boat tour of four islands. Was amazing!! Stopped off for snorkelling in littles bays and then visited the beach on Pi Pi Toa where the film the beach was filmed. Was beautiful clear waters that was like a bath, shame we couldn't stay there longer. We then went over to Pi Pi Ton for a buffet lunch and a bit of relaxing on the beach. Really liked this island so think we will return here after the tour finishes. We then saw caves and a lagoon and monkey bay where lots of the little monkeys were running around on the beach. On the was back we stopped for 1hour and a half at Bamboo Island. It had the whitest sand ever and was so peaceful could have stayed there all day. The way home then got very interesting when we hit a tropical storm!! Everyone on the boat got totally soaked through was so bad i had fits of giggles. Certainly an exerpience. In the evning had a nice meal at Blue Mango restaurant and then a few drinks before bed. Have to check out tomorrow but really wish could stay here!!
