Arrived in Bangkok after a TERRIBLE overnight train. Couldn't sleep and it was a bit grubby!! Got to the hotel about 5am and luckyily got into our room for a sleep. In the aternoon we did a bit of shopping on Kho San Rd and in the evening went for dinner overlooking the river. We all then headed over to a posh hotel to watch a ladyboy caberet!!! Was fascinating how much some of then looked like women!! Quite scary for the men.... The next day sunday, I had a relaxing day while hays went to visit the river kwai. In the afternoon shells arrived!!! Woohoo. We got ready and had a meal in a local restaurant before heading to Petrol bar for many buckets!!! Was really good night. Said our farewells to all the group, will be strange not having them all around. On monday visited the impressive Grand Palace before relaxing and getting the bus back down to the beach at Ko Phangan in the eve!! Will arrive tomorrow at 11am....hope we can all sleep on the way!!
