Left the Cameron Highland early in the morning and back on the bus for another long journey! Took about 5hours, when got there the sun and heat really hit us because it was nice and cool in the hills! Penang was a bit of funny place really, not that great if I'm honest. Took a walk around the city of Georgetown and then had some lunch in the Rainforest cafe. In the evening we all got some drinks in and had takeaway pizza on the roof terrace of our hotel. Was quite a laugh, all the drinking games came out later, s***head, ring of fire, i have never etc etc!!

The next day the 26th we heading over to Penang Hill with 4 of the others from the group. Bought a ticket, but had to wait 3hours to get on the furnicular. While waiting we went to visit the Koh Lok si Temple which is one of the largest in SE asia. Was very impressive but got really hot walking around it, it was a sweltering day!! We then took the furnicualar up the 900m hill in the afternoon. This train thing had to be the slowest moving object in the world!! It took over half an hour and was packed full of people...stressfull! Once we got up there though the views were wonderfull of Penang island and over to the mainland. We then watched a snake charmer show whilst up there. The man was kissing the cobras on the head and everthing!! After the looonnng journey back down we headed out to a really nice restaurant in the eve. I had posh fish and chips! Off to Thailand tomorrow.....cant wait for the beach!!!
