Arrived at Surfers, loads of high rises feels a bit americian. Chilled on the beach for the day it was roasting and the waves are huge!! Really lovely beach though, see photo.. In the eve we went on the gold coast backpacker club crawl. Was good night went to 3 clubs and got 5 free drinks and met lots of people, although did feel a bit like a sheep being ussered on everywhere and told what to do!hehe, maybe i'm getting to old for this. Also forgot to say, noone informed us of the time difference in queensland which is an hour behind!! Turned up at the bar downstairs an hour early thinking BOTH clocks were wrong! how funny.

The next day, thurs, jen and pri arrived here and we all went to the wet n wild water park. Some really fast rides, one called the tornado which drops youi down this vertical shoot into a tornado shaped cone at extreme speed in a rubber ring!

On the friday shell and priya had a surfing lesson in the morning so me n jen sunbathed cause didnt fancy it, dont think id be able to do it and scared of the jelly fish!! well...i wrote that the day before and when the guy instructer picked them up he pursaded me and jen too surf too. He had taught Paris Hilton and keanu reeves, also there was only us 4 and 1 other girl in the group which was really good and it was a beautiful day and the waves were good so couldnt say no!! Spent only a few mins on the sand learning to stand up and then we were in the sea. Was a bit scary at first but we all picked it up really well, stood up on my second go! Got the bug for it so gonna do it again in Noosa I think, another guy also took about 100 pics of us and put on disc so will try and send some of those over soon, some i look pro others are very funny!!!! In the afternnon we all went shopping and i bought a new bikini then we sat in a nice bar and had a couple of bottles of the bubbly stuff to celebrate our surfing! In the eve we cooked far har jars!! for the 4 of us and we headed out to bedroom club in the eve.
