Arrived in Brisbane sat lunch time and headed done to the shops...again...whoops!! Bought a new top for the eve and some thongs..flip flops! Then went down to southbank which is a man made lagoon and beach. Bit strange having that in a city but was nice to cool off in the water, was 35 degrees. Tried to do our daily 40 lengths but realised we had sore arms from surfing so took to reading books and sunbathing. In the eve we met up with jen and Pri as they were in the same hostel and headed to the west end to a mediteranian restaurant. Was lovely to treat ourselves to good food. Had lovely prawns and spinach and fetta parcels! Brisbane is not the nicest looking city but good shops! After our meal we went to a funky lttle bar and had a cocktail.

On the sun we had a lay in!! Then went to Lone Pine koala sanctury to hold a furry thing!! in the eve cilled out at hostel and had a bbq.
