Arrived in Arlie at lunch to RAIN!! Not good, went at met Priya and jen and had drinks with then afternoon and the again in the evening. Went to Magnums beaches and Mama Africa, really good night.

Up early, bit hungover, and greeted with more rain, heavy rain, not good when your going sailing for three days. Got completely soaked walking to the jetty, then had our briefing which included the fact that 1 the rain probably wasnt going to stop, 2 girls couldnt wash there hair, 3 you could only have 2 min showers... etc the toys started coming out the pram.

Things only got worse on the boat for the next 3 days think storms, sea sickness, wet everything! even the beds, nothing to do, nothing to see cause of the rain,bed bugs, everything was smelly, the cabins were baking and the rain did not stop for 5minutes!! AAAHHHHH was like my worst night mare, terrible, think i may never get on a boat again. Some of the others did go snorkelling in the RAIN but a didnt cause there are killer jelly fish and the waiver form you had to sigh said it all, ie will you pay for a helicopter to save you...and do you relaise you may die... Anyway finally got back to land where guess what oh yes its raining, the worst its been in 15years aparantly, no one can leave cause all the roads are flooded! Not good.I suppose in a way we are unique! Going for drinks tonight though with all our boat peeps, that should be good, hey it can only get better!!!

Well, the rain didnt clear up and we ended up stranded in Airlie beach which doesnt even have a cinema until monday the 5th! All there was to do was watch tv which luckily we had and drink and eat! Was a bit crap to say the least! After much disscussion all of us decided to abanden going north and booked a flight back to Melbourne.  Didnt wanna get caught in the cyclone in cairns!! And we thought we were coming to the sunshine......
