We started today with a bus and canal tour of Amsterdam city and the old housing areas for the wealthy and the poor. We saw the house where Rembrandt lived out his final days and the house where Anne Frank and her family hid from the Germans during World War II and she wrote her diary. We transferred from Park Plaza Riverside hotel to Heathrow Airport early morning for our onward flight to Amsterdam for our European River Cruise. We had fun shopping at Heathrow. We arrived Amsterdam mid afternoon and were chauffeured to the 'Amaverde', one of APT's river boats. We were met by the entire master staff from Captain down.
