Happy New Year!!

Well, we have finally made it Down Under and it's good to be back - I can't beleive that it has been 5 years since I was last here! How time flies!!

We managed to find ourselves some cheap/decent accommodation in Balmain (which is right near the centre of the city) - not bad considering we only booked it the day before we arrived in Oz. And it
didn't cost us a fortune - all the budget places had been booked and we thought we were going to have to bite the bullet and pay a small fortune getting a hotel.....some places were charging up to
1000 dollars for new years eve!!!!!

Anyway, we managed to find our old neighbour, Steve - after months of trying to get hold of him we thought we would just turn up at his place. He was walking down the road as we arrived - you can
imagine his surprise when we saw us (he had no idea we were coming)!!!

New Year's Eve was spent with Steve and his mates - in a VERY nice house overlooking the harbour (see photos). It would have been nice to be closer to the action but that would have meant camping out
all day which none of us fancied doing!!

Other than that, we've just been trying to acclimatise to a life without being harassed every 5 metres, not having to haggle the price of everything and being able to understand the locals (well, to
a certain point anyway)!!!!

Oh and did I mention how many gorgeous ladies there are here?!?! No? Well there are more here than ANYWHERE we've been so far!! I'm looking into how I can move
here as we speak! All I need to do now is actually talk to these girls............!
