So heres an update on our travels so far....

After visiting the taj Mahal we had a long drive to Bharatpur where we visited a bird park which to be honest wasnt that great...we didnt see that many birds!! it was quite amusing though as we were on a cycle rickshaw and and old indian guy was taking us along telling everything we needed to know.We did see some monkeys and an owl, jackal and some antelopes.

After the park we went to our hotel which wqas in Bharatphur village. It was really nice, a renovated palace and the eating area was open air. We Had a nice indian buffet meal that night and then had a few drinks... our tour leader Abi was looking a bit hammered and suggested we go outside and throw some fire crackers, they were massive they were at least ten times the size of the ones in the uk and we all turned into school kids for the next half an hour. I have to admit is was really funny. The village was really quiet compared to Delhi but apparently there was till 2000 people living there...unbeleivable!! the farmers kids were really sweet although did attack one of our group when she got some pens out to give them, they were pulling each other and trying to grab the lot!!!

The next day we carried on our mission of a drive to Jaipur, unfortunately half our group that were in another car where in an accident, but noone was hurt just the car! so ther rest of the day we just chilled out at our hotel which was another really nice place ...it was a maharajahs palace...very nice check out the pic of the stuffed tiger head (evil). We visited the amber palace the next day and then went to the market which was crazy but not quite as mad as old Delhi!! Didnt really like it much....
