Today we woke up and had a little wander around the area - the city is manic, busiest we have been in to date! The most interesting thing is crossing roads. Here you don't wait for a space in the traffic, as there is never one. Instead you play human frogger - crossing through the traffic as it avoids you! Definitely something that takes some getting used to - on our walk we made our way to the war remnants museum. As it didn't open until 1:30 we took a walk around the independence palace and a few of the parks until we could get into the museum. The museum was quite interesting but very graffic, there was examples of the weapons used, a photos gallery taken by reporters and one about the chemicals that were spread over the country!
Once we had walked around we made our way back through the crazy traffic, grabbed some food and made our way back for an early night!
