Today was the day of Lauren's wedding! After an eventful morning of me trying to sneak in to Lauren's pool and finding out we were in the neibours instead we just chilled out on the beach and by the pool until happy hour! My new favourite time of the day - we has a few cocktails and went to start and get ready. As Lauren and Hana had hair a makeup to be done me an Shane headed to my apartment for a couple more beers and start getting our selves ready. A quick inspection of the wedding area and a meeting with the priest and we were all set!
In true fashion the bride was fashionably late but the rest of the ceremony went down without a hitch. It was beautiful and the timing was perfect, sunny blue skies for the ceremony and sun setting for the photos. Lush!
This was followed by a meal fit for a king - a full 6 courses, starting with shrimp as avocado salad, lobster soup, a full lobster (which I wasn't sure about but was actually lush), then a pallet cleanser which was banana pannacotta with a sharp strawberry coolie. This is when the beef came - and it was another full main course... So much food by now and then pudding! Thoroughly stuffed by amazing food we had a few drinks and went back to the appartment. In true Devonshire class we played a game of sevens and went to bed! Tomorrow we leave this amazing place and head to the main centre of chewang bay.
