This morning we woke early (around 5:30) to the sound of waves and the glare of the sunrise through our half walls. Today should really sit in Sihanoukville but really we woke up and grabbed some breakfast before getting our ferry to the islands. This is another part of the trip I've looked at a lot - the treehouse bungalows! I booked these a couple if days ago via email and paid them off yesterday as well as grabbing our ferry tickets. Today, neither me or Hana really felt like doing much, so we went and sorted our accommodation and tickets for our trip to the island of Koh Rong and grabbed some food and headed back to sort some washing and have a chill in our room. Tonight we grabbed some food and got an early night for our ferry tomorrow. Koh Rong island here we come!

We started today aboard our sleeper bus and when we arrived at 10:00am in Phnom Penh we were told the bus to Sihanoukville wasn't leaving until 12:30. This meant we had time to get a drink and some good and wait out the next two hours, they passed quite quickly and we jumped in a mini bus to get our next bus. The next bus was a local bus with dreadful aircon - this made the next six hours very, very hot, however me and Hana were both engrossed in our books so ...

Today is the day of our trip around the sites if Battambang, so we got up and grabbed a baguette and waited for our diver to turn up. Whilst waiting we decided instead of staying another night we would get the night bus to sihanoukville - this meant we changed rooms to the cheaper ones and all piled our bags inside. Once sorted we jumped in the tuk tuk and headed to out first destination - the bamboo train. I wasn't too bothered by this but so glad we did it in...
