Today should really sit in Sihanoukville but really we woke up and grabbed some breakfast before getting our ferry to the islands. This is another part of the trip I've looked at a lot - the treehouse bungalows! I booked these a couple if days ago via email and paid them off yesterday as well as grabbing our ferry tickets. So I was fairly eager to get going and as we arrived it was all that I had pictured, the bungalows were in are on there own private beach which means walking along way across the sand to get there - however, they are worth it! They weren't quite as luxurious as I expected but are definitely the stereotypical tropical huts. As I had planned we opted for the tree house bungalows which stood over two stories high with there own little balcony which at times makes
You feel your over the water. The site was as rustic as it gets with our hut not having full walls, the same for our bathroom (best view you will ever get while showering - see pic), electric that only works between 5:30pm - 10:30pm and not even bare basics - but with your own bit of beach and that view from your bed it all works! As soon as we got there we dumped our bags in our hut and headed straight for the sea. A quick bite to eat at the restraunt and a walk back to the main part and the first day was complete. The next couple of days could be boring to read as we are planning in doing nothing!
