Today we woke up early for our bus to Battambang, we did some last minute packing and headed downstairs to wait. We were picked up from our guesthouse at 6:30am by mini bus and taken to the company's office where we got onto a larger local bus. The journey went well and only took 2 hours over the time the estimated! (Which in south east Asia is a good thing!) we arrived at the bus station in Battambang to a hoard of tuk tuk drivers who wouldn't know personal space if it hit them in the face! We finally decided on a guesthouse to check out and grabbed one if the persistent drivers to take us there (which only cost 20p for 2 miles). Once there we grabbed a room and spoke with the driver about seeing a few sites the next day. Price and time agreed we went to our rooms to shower and de-bag. Once done we grabbed some food at a really nice restraunt named 'geko'. Fully fed we had a wander around the town and the indoor market, which was made more interesting by the huge black clouds and the attempt they had at raining, after this we went to have a chill in the rooms. Later we met back up with Pat and Jen and headed to another restraunt, but on our way we found a place called 'lotus' which had buy one get one free on pizza and beer was only $1, so we decided to go there. After food we played a few games of Euchre and headed back to bed!
